I just read an article here:
http://www.media-awareness.ca/english/resources/educational/handouts/video_games/teach_to_kill.cfm
And I disagreed with the fact that the Grossman dude says that TVs and video games teach kids to think bad about the world because if kids play or watch thiese stuff they would only think that the bad things only exist in their TVs and their video games.
I agreed that military warfare games are harmful to kids because in wars, you MUST kill for survival and I agree that video games teach kids about media violence and cigarette smoking, this is connected to the animated movie Lucky Luke because he smokes and shoot criminals, and I agree that the companies producing these stuff should be responsible for teaching kids to kill.
FIRST COMM! AHAHHAHAHAH
ReplyDeleteand yeah, because if the game was bad it would have been rated bad, otherwise the gaming company would actually be sued for the unrated contents! But yes...:D i agree with you...
I think that you are right by saying that games may or may not be harmful for kids, but I think parents must be responsible of what their kids play, and I also think that companies are responsible for this.
